Our journey at Lincoln Naturals began as a tribute to a very special dog— a big, goofy, sweet-souled Boxer named Lincoln. Lincoln’s life took a tragic turn when he was diagnosed with cancer at just 8 years old. His battle and eventual loss to this illness was not just a moment of profound sorrow but a pivotal turning point for us. It sparked a relentless quest in our founder, a fervent dog lover, to dive deep into canine health and nutrition. The goal was to uncover what might have contributed to Lincoln’s illness and to address the wider issue affecting countless dogs being fed misleadingly labeled “healthy” yet highly-processed, charred kibble.
In a market cluttered with dog foods boasting “natural” and “healthy” tags while being heavily processed and carb-loaded, our foundation emerged. Frustrated by the widespread misrepresentation and ignorance of a dog’s primary dietary need for meat, our founder was compelled to initiate a transformative change in pet nutrition.

My wife and I couldn’t be happier to have found such high-quality food and treats for our boy Jet. We are hyper focused consumers who take our health seriously and want the same for our fur son, Jet, a German Rottweiler and grandson of a two-time ADRK world champion. We have been on a mission to find the best possible all-natural food for him. We tried the “top kibbles” and “top fresh food” services like Farmer’s Dog with no luck. I adopted my beautiful blue Weimaraner, Duke, from Big Dog Ranch Rescue in December 2023. He was found abandoned in Redlands (Miami), weighing just 55 pounds and in poor shape. When I picked him up, they were feeding him Science Diet kibble. Knowing there were better options to help him recover and reach full health quickly, I began my search.
As a biologist working with wildlife, I understand the importance of diet in an animal’s health. From my research and understanding of a dog’s biology, I determined that a high-protein, low-carbohydrate, minimally processed diet is vastly superior to corn-filled kibble. That’s when I found Lincoln Naturals. Their nutrient profile closely aligns with a dog’s biological needs, and they omit all the junk found in commercial kibble.
Duke instantly loved Lincoln Naturals. In just five months, he went from 55 pounds to 75 pounds, becoming lean and muscular as his sporting breed should be. We have a 3-and-a-half-year-old Vizsla named Momo, and for a while, we struggled with feeding him. Momo would get bored eating the same food and would eventually stop eating.
